Blitz – the bravest of the brave

2

The staff and editorial team at Blitz must surely qualify the most morally decent and courageous group of staff and political journalists since time immemorial. From offices in Bangladesh, I as a pro Israel political researcher am allowed to promote articles at odds with the politics of the country housing this esteemed publication. A country which has historically been hostile to the Jewish State of Israel.

However, through reasoned debate via my articles there is no doubt that thousands of readers are opening their minds, giving me a hearing and are more sympathetic to my views from seemingly unalterable pro-Palestinian positioning. Truthful, reasoned arguments have been the key.

So, let’s just run through some of the accusations used by the anti-Israel mob and I shall briefly counter with my understanding of the truth which have been published by Blitz in previous articles.

The myth of illegal, Jewish occupancy in Palestine is a myth that has gathered momentum and has morphed into fact by the enemies of Israel.

The truth is uncomplicated and from a purely legal counter argument can be explained thus. The legal borders and territory of the Jewish State of Israel are defined for time immemorial within the League of Nations Mandate 1923 ratified by the United Nations Charter of 1945 and further endorsed by the legally binding international principles of Acquired Rights, Estoppel and Uti Possidetis Juris. The territory includes Gaza and the West Bank (Judea and Samaria). That is and will remain the legal position and no amount of anti-Israeli UN Resolutions can change this unalterable legal position. Any country can ignore, accept, implement, adopt or reject a UN Resolution as the UN is not a legislative body. Any anti-Israeli commentator who presents UN Resolutions as proof of Israeli illegal occupancy is promoting a false narrative and intellectually retarded on this matter.

A further accusation of Israeli illegality is that of stealing and colonization of land. This too can be easily debunked with reference to the Arab leadership testimony to the Hope Simpson Report of 1930 and the Peel Commission Report of 1937. The Arabs lead by the Grand Mufti when questioned numerous times under oath stated that all land had been legally purchased from Arab Palestinians by Jewish individuals or Zionist organizations and no land had been stolen. Indeed within various articles I cite this and also demand from those making the false accusations to elaborate on which type of land within the five classes of land category had been stolen. Mulk, MirI, Waqf, Metruke or Mewat. In five years of asking I’ve yet to receive a reply.

Most significantly, when unable to counter the facts I raise above, the anti-Semites then revert to the myth of Palestinians driven from their land. So, I ask if they can educate me on the following aspects of Palestinian land history. The Jews fought many wars, battles and conflicts against foreign invaders such as the Persians, Babylonians, Greeks, Romans and Crusaders as can be evidenced archaeologically and historically but what conflicts were the Palestinians involved in to reclaim their indigenous land? And who were the Palestinian leaders during such conflicts? Again, no answers are ever provided. So, let’s assume the Palestinians were historically peace loving, antiwar hippies. What proof of their existence? What was the indigenous currency, flag or emblem of the Palestinians at the time of the conflicts?

Where are the cemeteries of the Palestinians? Again, I am still awaiting the answers.

Having reviewed numerous documents and writings from itinerant scribes through the ages, I ask why none of them ever referred to a race, nation, culture, tribe or people known as the Palestinians. I refer to many travelers to the region such as Siebald Rieter, 1426 -1488, Bernhard von Breydenbach 1440 -1497, Felix Fabri 1451 – 1502, Martin Kabatnik 1428 -1503, John Bowles 1701 – 1779, Alphonse de Lamartine 1790 – 1869, Sir George Adan Smith 1856 -1942 and scores of others. All these researchers, historians’ travelers and soldiers who at various times travelled the area and wrote of their experiences never once mentioned the Palestinians. Why? It is simply because the world fails to see that the Palestinians of today were a creation of the 1970’s – an anti-Israel, mainly Arab Muslim origination to counter the existence of the Jewish State after the Arab armies of 1948 failed in this objective.

Then we have the accusations of racism and apartheid. Refer the accusers to the two Palestinian charters of 1968 and 1988. Both based on Nazi ideology demanding Jew extermination and subservience to Islam or death. The 1988 charter even demands the extermination of those working for or raising money for charities assisting the physically and mentally disabled. The Nazi ideology is not even hidden. The racism is from one side only – the Palestinian side.

Support for the Palestinians is justified by the further accusations of genocide against them by the State of Israel. Again, this is easily debunked given the Palestinian population has multiplied by a factor of 10 during the years of the ‘genocide’. Oh, if only all genocides were like that of the Palestinian one – from 600,000 Palestinians in 1948 to six million plus today.

Finally, we are faced with the mythology that Jerusalem and the geography are part of Islam. Not only is this the greatest lie perpetrated by Palestinians but is in actuality anti Islam. Neither the Palestinians nor Jerusalem are ever mentioned within the Quran unlike the numerous Suras within the Quran which bestows, bequeaths and promises the total geography to the Jewish people. To support Palestinian land claims is to mock the Quran, Allah and Mohammed. In previous Blitz articles I have written extensively on this subject and have received unqualified support from several high-profile Imams.

We who spend our lives countering the false narrative surrounding the Israeli – Palestinian conflict owe a great deal to those who put their heads above the parapet countering the global, anti-Jewish, anti-Zionist misinformation that has absurdly gained such credibility.

May the Almighty bless Weekly Blitz and her team. I feel privileged to play a small part.
