Courageous statement from Nablus Governor Ibrahim Ramadan

The Governor of Nablus Ibrahim Ramadan has issued a statement asking the Lion’s Den members to surrender to the PA security forces, so that they can be disarmed, and this will result in the cessation of IDF raids in the area

Welcome to the Lion’s Den. This is the name of the mullah terror entity’s proxies – Hamas-Fatah-Islamic Jihad – the new terrorist alliance in the West Bank and Gaza. The triumvirate is just a new dysfunctional fused group of discontented jihadis looking for more lethal trouble. They have been carrying out the recent string of terrorist attacks against Israelis.

When I first heard the new name and the use of the term “den”, I flashed back to the 1950s in American suburbia where little boys, elementary school age, went to Cub Scouts in order to learn values to improve their lives and others. Their mothers were known as “den mothers” who looked after the boys. This disjunctive moment perked me up to realize that once again I had been thrown back into the insane world of jihadi terrorism where everything is the reverse. What is good is bad and what is bad is good. Think of Isaiah 5 – our ancient elders understood this.

Why is it so difficult for us to get this fact? I hazard a guess that it is because of the profundity of terror and how it works its nefarious magic. This jihadi lion’s den seeks to perpetrate more and more terrorist attacks. Indeed, one jihadi recently bludgeoned to death the elderly defenseless Shulamit Rachel Ovadia z”l of blessed memory. This jihadi was found one block from my home. You can read my blog entitled ‘The Real Reason Why Jihadis Murder Elderly Jewish Women’.

Aggression breeds aggression. The jihadis are venerated on social media and in their homes. Yet it is so ironic since they are nothing more that emasculated mama’s boys who are so blinded by their own rage that they never really learned to be men, to own their emotions. They missed important developmental steps during early childhood. Their fathers [emphasis mine], interestingly enough and sadly, never taught them how to control and deal with rage, anger and murderous feelings. The jihadis just let it all hang out.

The FUNDAMENTAL task of a father is to teach his son to reign in his rage, to know boundaries and NOT to blame others nor to bully them as well as to assume responsibility for his actions.

Their rage, in part, is due to huge unmet needs. Simple things like being listened to, being mirrored appropriately, being taught to have empathy for the other, not being used as a pathological narcissistic object etc. It’s amazing that the jihadis completely lack emotional intelligence. They don’t understand that they stand naked before us as wimps – totally exposed just like in the emperor’s new clothes.

However, something small has changed the scenario right now concerning the recent string of terrorist attacks. I stumbled upon it while reading the blog of one of my favorite people – Jack Cohen. He is a brilliant man – highly accomplished scientist as well as artist. His blogs are always succinct and relevant. Today’s blog was on The Lion’s Den. What caught my eye was that for the first time a Palestinian governor confronted these impotent jihadis and their mothers. The exact quote follows but Governor Ibrahim Ramadan contested the long-held nonsense about how the jihadi mothers support such bloodshed and said that they were not real mothers because real mothers would want to preserve life over death. [emphasis mine] Quoting Jack Cohen:

“As a result, the Governor of Nablus Ibrahim Ramadan has issued a statement asking the Lion’s Den members to surrender to the PA security forces, so that they can be disarmed, and this will result in the cessation of IDF raids in the area. He also met with several members as well as with several families of members of the Lion’s Den. In his statement he also criticized the mothers of such members who have given their son’s permission to take essentially suicidal missions in opposing IDF forces. He said such mothers were not real mothers who should want to preserve the lives of their sons. The Lion’s Den has criticized this statement saying that it is against the mothers of all Palestinian martyrs.”

The reader can easily hear how defensive the jihadis are when their maternal Achille’s heel has been struck. Immediately they stooped to defend not their mothers because they live and like all the Palestinian terrorist leaders, they never send their own to die instead they use others to be scapegoated cannon fodder. Instead the jihadis attempted to throw up the shield of the martyrs merely hiding behind those dead whose deaths they have caused in the perpetuation of jihad for they have no guilt. They claim to speak for the martyrs’ mothers yet the martyrs’ mothers are known to cry behind closed doors out of sight of the public.

When I first started working in terrorism in the early 1980s after the truck bombs went off in Lebanon, I admit that I did not understand the significance of the nonverbal communication of the jihadis and their mothers. Suffice it to say after five books including a dictionary, the jihadis remain glued to their mothers. But what about their fathers? It is too easy to blame the female. Shouldn’t the fathers carry part of the responsibility for their jihadi sons? Alas, the fathers were absent because they too were mentally glued to their mothers. No one is born a jihadi but the psychodynamics of the family early on matter significantly and thus both the father and the mother shoulder responsibility for the bloodshed of their jihadis.
