Crypto scammers use names of Saudi, Bahraini, Qatar and UAE royals

A group of crypto and Ponzi scheme scammers are using names of the staff of the Saudi, Bahraini, Qatar and UAE royal families in their dangerous fraud projects.

According to information, recently a group of infamous frauds namely Kamil Grunt and Jeorge Sebastiao launched a fraudulent organization named ‘EcoShumi Foundation(Web Archive Link), where it shows names of Anthony Cruise, Chief Operations Officer, Private Office of HRH Sheikha Hend Al Qassemi, Dunston Pereira, COO to the Royal office of HH sheikh Ahmed Bin Faisal Al Qassimi,

Baronessa María Isabel Jiménez Sánchez, Chairwoman, MVD Invest Group SA, Senior Advisory Consultant, The Private Office of HE Sheikh Abdulaziz Bin Duaij Bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Founder & President, Isabel Jiménez Realty Corp, MRU Patel, Board Member, Royal Family office of Sheik Ahmed Bin Faisal al Qassimi and Moaid Mahjoub, Global Director of Business Development and Strategy at Private Office of Princess Jawaher bint Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Bin Jalawy Al Saud as its members.

This group is also showing the name of Eliezer (Moodi) Sandberg, former Minister of Science and Technology of Israel [according our information he is a former minister and associate of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was named as a suspect in the ongoing and ever-expanding corruption investigation into the multi-million-dollar purchase of naval vessels from Germany].

Jorge Sebastiao (Jorge Sebastião) aka Nuno Jorge Da Cruz Sebastiao, who has past track record of series of frauds and scams, including swindling 136 million Euros from people in Spain through a cryptocurrency scam named Nimbus, while our reporters have found shocking information about the background of another founder named Kamil Grund, who is a notorious fraudster and imposter. Earlier, Kamil Grund has falsely pretended as an official of Assaf Foundation, which is established His Highness Mahmoud Salah Al Din Assaf.

Following publication on an investigative report titled ‘Gang of scam Dracula lands in Dubai’ in Blitz, after Nobel Prize nominee Professor Don Milan Krajnc, who was named as one of the key individuals in ‘EcoShumi Foundation’, which is launched by a group of thuggish frauds and scammers such as Jorge Sebastiao ((Jorge Sebastião) aka Nuno Jorge Da Cruz Sebastiao, who has past track record of series of frauds and scams, including swindling 136 million Euros from people in Spain through a cryptocurrency scam named Nimbus Defi, asked the scammers to remove his name from the scandalous website, many individuals such as Saudi national Moaid Mahjoub, Global Director of Business Development and Strategy at Private Office of Princess Jawaher bint Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Bin Jalawy Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has also sent us an email stating his name also was included in ‘EcoShumi Foundation’ website without his consent or knowledge.

Prior to sending the above email, Mahjoub called the editor of Blitz several times from Saudi Arabia stating his lawyer was taking necessary preparations for filing a case against the kingpins of the ‘EcoShumi Foundation’ for “illegally inserting his name”. When the name of Moaid Mahjoub was deleted from the ‘EcoShumi Foundation’ website, he suspiciously went silent.

Surprisingly, scammer Jorge Sebastiao has earlier received ‘eGovernment Excellence Award’ from Bahrain, which has been criticized by the international media.

International scammers and fraudsters have become active especially in Dubai when His Royal Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council is enthusiastic about the outcome of Dubai Metaverse Assembly, a new global event, which is scheduled to take place during the end of September 2022.

According to media reports, this global event aims to discuss how to make the most of metaverse’s promising opportunities to serve the mankind.

HRH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said that the forum represents a global incubator for future metaverse makers.

“Metaverse is a promising digital world. We aim to harness this technology to enhance the quality of life in the UAE and across the globe”, HRH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed said. He highlighted that Dubai Metaverse Assembly embodies the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, for the emirate to become a global hub for innovation and futuristic transformations and a key driver for digital and knowledge-based economies around the world.

The Dubai Metaverse Strategy is the first initiative of the higher committee formed under the directives of the Crown Prince during the fifth meeting of the Dubai Council in May 2022.

The committee, chaired by HRH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aims to oversee all future technological developments in Dubai’s digital economy and ensure that Dubai’s legislative and legal framework keeps up with the rapid developments of the digital economy and tremendous technological progress.

“We want Dubai to lead globally in adopting the technology of the future, understanding its developments, harnessing its potential, and driving change”, HRH Sheikh Hamdan said.

Saudi Arabia’s General Intelligence Directorate (GID), the Signals Intelligence Agency (SIA) of the United Arab Emirates, the National Security Agency of Bahrain, and Qatar State Security need to immediately initiate investigation into such notorious activities of international scammers and fraudsters.
