Death of Shireen Abu Akleh, the Dreyfus mob are alive and kicking

The death of the Al Jazeera journalist, Shireen Abu Akleh has received saturation media coverage from the usual anti-Jewish state commentators – the Dreyfus mob as I call them. The same kind of people who zealously promoted the false narrative accusing a Jewish Captain in the French army, Alfred Dreyfus of being a spy. Convicted of treason, Dreyfus was imprisoned in 1895 subsequently released and officially exonerated in 1906 after a campaign by Emile Zola. This case facilitated anti-Jewish riots in France and other parts of Europe. Recently the BBC referred to Dreyfus not as the heroic, wrongly convicted Jew but as the notorious French spy. The BBC has not moved on from the French antisemitism of 125 years ago.

In the UK it is still the BBC news platforms, The Guardian and The Independent newspapers and in the USA, CNN, MSNBC and The New York Times who continuously promote an anti-Israel agenda which they must knowingly appreciate, facilitates antisemitism to their audience. And make no mistake, the narrative promoted, the blame game has been squarely put on Israel, for the recent AJ journalist’s death. Just like Dreyfus, without any shred of evidence Israel has experienced the mob propaganda facilitating global anti-Jewish state riots. Today’s Dreyfus mob have come out baying for Israeli and Jewish blood.

The journalist worked for Al Jazeera which is indirectly owned and sponsored by the Government of Qatar, a country assisting Islamist terrorism and is naturally at the forefront of the anti-Jewish hostility. Seven AJ journalists recently killed by Assad’s Syrian forces received no such exposure – Qatar would not allow and AJ obsequiously complied. However, why were the global media and left-wing politicians silent on the deaths of Mohammed al- Masslma, Mohammed al-Qasim and Mohammed al- Safar killed by Syria in 2013, 2014 and 2015 and Ibrahim al-Omar, killed by Russian troops assisting the Syrian army in 2016?  It begs the question how any morally decent journalist could work for AJ given the owners are sponsoring Islamic terrorism in various regions as in the Sahel and via Iranian proxies in the Middle East. It would seem that financial greed, bigotry and lack of moral decency are the necessary qualities to become an AJ journalist. Even those who lower themselves to work for AJ and are killed in the line of duty are forgotten and ignored. Except where attachment to their death can be linked to the Jewish State of Israel.

In Europe it is the Irish newspapers, surprise, leading the outpouring of wailing parliamentary grief and hostility – well coming from a country, the only country in the world as it happens to offer condolences on the death of Adolf Hitler, this is par for the course. To deviate slightly from the main thrust of the article, it is quite incredible, actually nauseating that Ireland still maintains numerous memorials on public display to Nazi collaborators and little wonder those who made the ultimate sacrifice to free Europe from Nazism are turning in their graves. Understandably however, rabid antisemitism is the common factor linking Republic of Ireland legislators with the Palestinians whose Charters demand Jew extermination.

The fascists of the political left have inundated social media platforms with vile Jew hating tweets showing ‘sympathy’ for the Palestinian journalist and hostility towards Israel. No such sympathy for the nineteen Israelis murdered recently by Palestinian terrorists.

In the UK Parliament, two intellectually challenged Muslim women legislators, Naz Shah and Zarah Sultana jumped on the anti-Jew bandwagon as did the shadow foreign secretary David Lammy, who devoted most of his boring radio program to the subject. The UN too wants a thorough investigation into the killing.

Why were there no UN investigations into the killings of the seven AJ journalists killed by Syria?

Protests have been well attended by the left and their Islamic support base. For the record the Palestinians would not allow any independent investigation of the journalist’s death as it is most likely the incompetent, biased reporter was killed by an incompetent, Nazi Palestinian sniper. The body was buried before any independent investigation could be done. Why? Because she was in all probability killed by a Palestinian. Still the Dreyfus mob put the blame on the Jewish state.

The deaths of other journalists killed create no such media attention nor outrage. This year 14 journalists, six Russian, four Ukrainian, one Italian, one American, one Lithuanian and one Irish have been killed by either the Russian or Ukrainian armies. I’d wager Naz Shah, Sultana and Lammy don’t know any of their names and certainly didn’t comment on them in Parliament nor on Lammy’s boring radio show. I’d wager the BBC devoted as a multiple, one thousand times more coverage on the one Palestinian death than on the 14 journalists killed in Ukraine. Similarly, I’d bet the same when it came to US media coverage.

Deciphering the number of journalists killed in any one country in any given year especially in countries where the media is controlled by the state is virtually impossible to verify. For example, official statistics regarding Pakistan verify that an average of ten journalists a year were killed by Pakistan’s forces during the period 1990 – 2020. However further investigation from unofficial sources into the journalistic paradise of Pakistan reveals that during the same period 2,658 journalists have been killed – that’s an average of ninety each year. These statistics were reported by ANI (promoting itself South Asia’s leading multiple news agency) on January 26th 2022.  I wonder why Shah, Sultana and Lammy have seen no reason to identify with the numerous killings of Pakistani journalists.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights reported that over 700 journalists have been killed in Syria in the last eight years. I wonder how much time the BBC, CNN, The Guardian, The Independent, Shah, Sultana, Lammy and the Gang of Four in the USA have devoted to any one of these seven hundred deaths.

Eighteen Kurdish journalists have been killed by the Turkish army since 1995 – these deaths have never seemed to bother the BBC let alone the other news outlets and parliamentarians. No wailing from Irish parliamentarians nor the Irish press.

The killing of several journalists by Islamists in the Sahel region in the last few years has gone unnoticed by the global media as have the killings of several journalists in Lebanon where seven journalists have been killed since August 2021 and in Afghanistan where nearly 100 killed since 2006. Mexico too is not a haven for journalists and an average of fifteen to twenty are killed annually. No UN intervention required for investigation in these geographies.

In the good old European Union countries, six journalists were killed in 2021 apparently by state intervention – no EU nor UN investigation warranted however. Where was the outpouring of media grief and saturation reporting of the deaths of Bulgarian Viktoria Marinova, Jan Kuciak of Slovakia, Daphne Galicia of Malta, Kim Wall of Sweden, Dmitri Popkov of Russia pre-Ukraine and Saeed Karimian a Turkish based Iranian?

Why the global media silence on all those journalists killed but the wailing and deafening noise on the Al Jazeera journalist.

The media is as corrupt as any other profession, more so as it professes to be the body that exists to expose corruption. Today’s western journalists are generally made up of incompetents and bigots and the BBC and CNN is packed full of them. Those on the political left today mimic those on the political right of yesteryear. They are now the new Dreyfus mob in terms of their Jew hating ideology. Yesteryear it was blame the Jew and today it is blaming the Jewish State as per the global media, Muslim politicians and the political left.

Perhaps, Shah, Sultana, Lammy and the Gang of Four appeal to the racists and bigots within their constituencies but they certainly have no appeal to the morally decent in any community.
