Despite scandals centering her private life centering marrying her own brother, one of the notorious members of Squad, Ilhan Omar always remain committed to hating Christians, Jews, Hindus and non-Muslims and defends radical Islam, jihad and murder of innocent people.
Recently she as part of her anti-India and anti-Hindu tirade, Ilhan Omar has introduced a resolution in the US Congress that calls the Secretary of State Antony Blinken to designate India as a country of particular concern for “violation of religious freedom”.
This resolution, co-sponsored by pro-Hamas and pro-Palestinian congresswoman Rashida Tlaib and congresswoman Juan Vargas urges the Biden administration to implement the recommendations of the US Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) which has called for redesigning India as a country of particular concern for three consecutive years. It condemns “human rights violations and violations of international religious freedom” in India, including those “targeting” Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Dalits, Adivasis, and other religious and cultural minorities. It expressed grave concern about the “worsening treatment” of religious minorities in India.
While this resolution has been sent to the House Foreign Affairs Committee for necessary action, Capitol insiders said, such resolution is “very unlikely to see the light of the day, given the vindictive approach being adopted by Ilhan Omar and others. They certainly have acquiescently sided with Pakistan-backed Islamist terrorist groups as well as propaganda spread by Pakistani spy agency ISI [Inter-Service Intelligence]”.
It may be recalled here that Omar visited Pakistan in April 2022 and held meetings with Pakistani leaders including deposed Prime Minister Imran Khan and visited Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK), although she did not disclose who had funded this dangerous rendezvous. At that time, India had condemned Omar’s visit to the PoK saying her visit to the region violated the country’s sovereignty and it reflected her “narrow-minded” politics.
Ilhan Omar has been consistently showing her anti-India, anti-Israel and anti-Semitic bias while she always has been enthusiastically supportive towards religious hatred, violent extremism and radical Islamic militancy.
It is well-documented that Ilhan Omar hates Christians, Jews, Hindus, Zionists and Israel, while she makes every attempt in defending mega-terror outfit Hamas, Palestinian jihadists, radical Islamic militancy groups, and even terror-patron nations such as Iran and Pakistan. She and few other Democratic Party leaders are currently fighting with the notorious mission of banning condemnations of radical Islam, jihad and Jew and Christian hatred in the United States. She and her cronies want to grant freestyle pass to radical Muslims as well as enemies of Israel, Jews, Zionists and the US in continuing vile attacks through lectures, media and social media. Ilhan Omar even wants American policymakers to see Israel as an “illegitimate” country.
It seems, the Jews can never seem to live up to Ilhan Omar’s (D. Minn) exacting standards.
The Minnesota congresswoman’s latest broadcast came recently, when she told CNN’s Jake Tapper that her Jewish Democratic colleagues “haven’t been partners in justice” and have yet to apologize for their allegedly Islamophobic comments.
Omar’s statement came after Tapper asked whether she regrets her May 2022 comments comparing the United States and Israel with terrorist organizations like Hamas and the Taliban. Her answer was unequivocal: “I don’t”.
That’s outrageous, because Omar at the time “clarified” that statement, which elicited a rebuke from Democratic leaders and a dozen Jewish Democrats, saying that she did not say what in fact she said: “I was in no way equating terrorist organizations with democratic countries”. To be clear, she also believes Israel is a terrorist nation.
Ilhan Omar, as the kids say, is owning her truth. Her tap dance follows a pattern that is by now well established, in which the justice-seeking congresswoman makes nakedly prejudicial remarks, pretends to walk them back in the face of muted criticism from her colleagues, characterizes the criticism itself as Islamophobic, and proceeds to reoffend.
That pattern gives the lie to the apology Omar issued after arguing that American support for Israel is “all about the Benjamins, baby”: Her offenses were born of ignorance rather than prejudice, she said, and thanked her colleagues for “educating me on the painful history of anti-Semitic tropes”.
A Punchbowl News report earlier this month indicated that “a number of Omar’s fellow Democrats believe Omar is an anti-Semite, even if they don’t say so publicly”.
It is, of course, the only prejudice about which Democrats are tight-lipped and the only one tolerated in the party’s ranks.
It is also the latest indication that the party is following in the footsteps of the British left, led until recently by Squad ally Jeremy Corbyn. A report from the United Kingdom’s Equality and Human Rights Commission implicated not just Corbyn, whose offenses are legion, but the Labour Party itself, which “at best, did not do enough to prevent anti-Semitism and, at worst, could be seen to accept it”.
To the extent there is resistance in the Democratic Party to Omar’s relentless attacks on Jews and her condemnations of American power and influence, surely it is driven at least in part by the shellacking the British left took in the last national election there.
Should the Democrats continue down this path, people should have faith that the outcome for the left will be the same in the United States as in Britain, and that the more they see of Omar and her allies, the dimmer their prospects become. And Americans will give a strong message during November’s midterm elections by casting their votes in favor of Republican Party candidates.
In my opinion, individuals like Ilhan Omar are no less harmful and dangerous than Al Qaeda, Islamic State, Hamas and the Taliban. Patriotic Americans need to stand against individuals like Ilhan Omar and make sure, they don’t find any place inside the US Congress and Senate.
The case of Mamata Banerjee, another patron of radical Islam
According to a tweet by @Shehzad_Ind, West Bengal’s chief minister Mamata Banerjee declares 21st July as day of “Jihad” against ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In the Tweet Shehzad said: “Mamta [Mamata] Banerjee declares 21st July as day of “Jihad” against BJP! It is not just the language but the mindset & inherent communal dog whistle that is problematic-like a “Direct Action Day” call! We have already seen targeting of one section post 2nd May after “Khela Hobe!!”
Within hours of Mamata Banerjee’s proclamation of jihad against BJP [read Hindus], two Muslim men in Rajasthan’s Udaipur area in India murdered a Hindu man over his social media post in support of ex-spokeswoman of BJP, Nupur Sharma. In the videos that have emerged, the two men entered the Hindu tailor’s shop posing as customers and grabbed to behead him with machete. The victim was killed in broad-day-light amidst the hustle-bustle on adjoining road.
In the video posted by Delhi BJP politician Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga, it could be seen that one Muslim man entered the victim’s shop as a customer while the other was possibly shooting the video. While the tailor was taking the man’s body measurements, he grabbed his neck and attacked him from the back. After this, the man started hitting the tailor, with the victim pleading with him to let him go.
In the latter part of the video, the victim could be heard crying and screaming while he was beheaded with a raw machete by the men. The tailor’s body covered in plastic was seen lying outside his shop with blood overflowing on the streets.
In another video, the assailants who have identified themselves as Mohammed Riyaz Akhatari and another one as Mohammed could be seen claiming responsibility for their actions in the name of Allah. “We have chopped off the head from the one from Udaipur. Oh, Allah, we will live for you and die for you”.
“Oh Narendra Modi [Indian Prime Minister], listen, you’ve started the fire and will we extinguish it. I hope this knife reaches your neck as well, Inshallah. Oh, the people of Udaipur, chant, “Gustakh e Rasool ki Sazah, Sar tan see Juda (The one who insults the prophet has the only punishment, which is the separation of the head from the body).
This troubling jihadist act is the result of Mamata Banerjee’s call for waging jihad, and she will continue spreading venom of religious hatred until she succeeds in terrifying everyone in India – Hindus, Christians, Buddhists, Sikhs, Jews and even secular Muslims. Under laws of any peace-loving and civilized nation, for a leader expressing call for waging jihad is tantamount to jihadist calls by Al Qaeda, Islamic State and other radical Islamic militancy outfits. In this regard, western policymakers, including the United States should immediately designate Mamata Banerjee as a terrorist kingpin.
