Palestinian propaganda needs to be challenged

1

Whether on social media or mainstream media the Israel Palestinian subject attracts disproportionate coverage which is saturated with anti-Jewish State rhetoric, historical revisionism, propaganda and a continuous false narrative.

The fashionable terminology describing the Jewish State of Israel and their policies towards the Palestinians are genocide, apartheid, ethnic cleansing, stolen land and illegal occupation and the word Zionist is used as a substitute for Nazi. Challenging these lies and the false narrative is a continuous fight necessitating devoted attention.

Genocide is associated with certain events in history which need no elaboration. The Palestinian narrative has successfully attempted to link historical genocides with their current plight which paradoxically is the reverse of a genocide as we shall prove.

The Hope Simpson report of 1930 identifies the Palestine population and did not identify Palestinians as an ethnic group. They were called ‘Mohammedans’ (as the Palestinians had as yet to be invented) and their population was 450,000. By 1948 that demographic had grown to 700,000 mainly as a result of inward immigration as noted by Arab, Jewish and British administrators and politicians.

Today’s Palestinian population ranges between 5.8 million and 7.2 million depending on which United Nations NGO or Palestinian policy unit one believes. This proves that the Palestinian population, has increased by at least a factor of eight during the last seventy-five years. Thus, according to fashionable anti-Jewish State narrative, the so-called Palestine genocide which began with the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948 and the following ‘Nahkba’ has had the reverse impact of all previous historical genocides by dramatically increasing the numbers of those victims of the genocide.

For the record no group subject to a genocide has doubled their population in this time span let alone multiplied by a factor of eight to ten.

The ‘genocide’ accusation is a lie, a fiction, a myth and only the intellectually retarded, liars, revisionists and racists would use the term when describing Israel’s policy towards the Palestinians. BDS and left-wing politicians are the main perpetrators of this myth.

The true ‘Nahkba’ was in reality the ethnic cleansing of Jews from Arab countries when Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and Iraq, attacked Israel immediately after Israel’s ascendancy into the United Nations.  Naturally these historical facts have been buried with the truth and Palestinian victimhood and propaganda has morphed into fact.

Now apartheid and ethnic cleansing are descriptive and emotional lies used similarly to describe Israeli policy in the attempt to link Israel with the hated, right wing Government of South Africa, pre-Mandela.

Apartheid is an Afrikaans word meaning segregation of the races. As I have written many times previously the Palestinians are not a race. Nor are they a culture, a people, a tribe or nation and have never been. They are simply a political group of colonial Arabs dedicated to the destruction of the Jewish State as per their charters of 1968 and 1988. If Palestinians were an indigenous race, historical evidence could prove it. There would be records of wars and battles fought by the Palestinians against invaders such as the Romans or Greeks; there would be archaeological evidence of a distinct Palestinian culture; there would be evidence of buildings and monuments, standing or destroyed that were constructed by indigenous Palestinians; there would be a Palestinian language, emblem and currency; itinerant scribes through the ages would have penned about the indigenous Palestinians and history would have identified Palestinian leaders and cemeteries. Alas there is nothing that can prove the existence of any of these. And given that the Jewish State is now a multiracial democracy and the Palestinian Charters demand Jew extermination and death to those other races not subservient to the Palestinian form of Islam, then apartheid is the ideology of the Palestinians.

In multiracial Israel there are 400 mosques where Muslims are free to pray. There are Arab Muslims and Christians within the Israeli Government. The Bahai community, ethnically cleansed from Arab countries, now within Israel are allowed full freedom of worship denied to them by Palestinians. The LGBT community have full rights in Israel – not so in the Palestinian territories where they are subject to total homophobia. The death penalty is given to any Palestinian selling land to Jews and there are no Jews nor synagogues in Gaza.

Any review of social and mainstream media will not identify these facts but continuously perpetrate the myth that Israel behaves the way the Palestinians conduct themselves. Frustrating is an understatement.

Ethnic cleansing is a useful phrase within the pro-Palestinian repertoire. It has a certain tone to its phraseology which the ignorant easily adopt supporting their antisemitism. Except that the only ethnic cleansing was perpetrated on Jews in Arab countries after the establishment of Israel. The Grand Mufti commanded all Muslims to leave Palestine before the Arab armies attacked the newly formed Jewish State or be treated as traitors where death would be their reward. This is all documented – the Meinertzhagen Diaries, the Parliamentary Report the Double Exodus as well as numerous other political, newspaper reports and articles testify.

‘Arabs attack Palestine’ was the headline front pages of numerous journals at the time.

The anti-Zionist mob have also successfully managed to promote the lie that immigrant Jews and Zionists stole land from Palestinian owners and colonized that land illegally. The Hope Simpson Report of 1930 and the Peel Report of 1937 accurately expose these myths for time immemorial. The British Administration, the Arab leadership and the tenant farmers themselves all testify under oath that absolutely no land was stolen and all land had been legally purchased. This documented evidence for whatever reason is never alluded to by mainstream commentators or politicians.

The legal position too when debating Israel’s current sovereign territory is really quite simple. The Jewish State along with several other nations, Mesopotamia now Iraq, Trans Jordan now the Kingdom of Jordan, Syria and Lebanon were created by League of Nations Mandate circa 1922/3.

When the League of Nations morphed into the United Nations, 1945, Article 80 (as just one example) ratified, confirmed and endorsed all that the League of Nations had previously legally constituted. Moreover, the international legally binding principles of Acquired Rights and Estoppel further rubber stamp these legal commitments for time immemorial.

These legalities as unpalatable as they are to Israel’s enemies confirm that Gaza, Judea and Samaria (known as the West Bank) are within the sovereign territory of the Jewish State of Israel. That is the legal position. When the term ‘illegally occupied territory’ is used as it is frequently to describe those areas, whoever is using the term is either lying and, or misunderstands and is certainly incorrect.

And now the ‘coup de grace’ for the anti-Israel hordes – the use of the word Zionist. The Jew haters knowing that racism is unfashionable have managed to define the word Zionist as being linked to Nazism in a further effort to validate the myths that I have easily debunked above. Let’s be clear about the definition of Zionism – it is simply a political movement promoting self-determination for the Jewish people in their indigenous homeland and that objective has been achieved.

It is an uphill struggle pushing back on the false and negative terminology that Israel’s enemies use to saturate the media to support their anti-Jewish State (antisemitic?) ideology.  Perhaps this simple explanation above may assist those who will help join in the struggle that takes up so much time in my life.
