When back in 2020’s president election Donald Trump and his supporters said the election was rigged, Democrats quickly reacted stating Trump and his supporters were fascists. According to multiple surveys, a significant portion of American voters think their electoral system has been destroyed which is pushing country’s democracy towards total doom. In today’s America, no one can challenge the electoral system or talk about rigged election. State machinery is outlawing such claims while Big Tech are silently pursued to censor all such claims of vote rigging. We know, during the 2020 presidential election in the US, large social media platforms, such as Facebook and Twitter had played direct role in silencing critics of the election and even it had banned hundreds and thousands of people, including former president Donald Trump from these platforms. If the US wants to boast of being a real democracy, such censorship and intimidations would be labelled as war against democracy. But, Joe Biden or any of the members of the Democratic Party would not be delighted in listening to any criticism centering America’s electoral system. In plain words – anyone challenging the result of 2020 presidential election or any other elections in the US would be labelled as “top enemy of America”. The Department of Justice would not waste time in sending members of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in raiding homes and offices of the critics of country’s electoral system, while the entire state machinery would exert its full power in protecting any of the corrupt members of the ruling party or ruling elite circle. We have seen how the DOJ had played foul in burying serious corruption and crime allegations brought against President Biden’s scandalous son – Hunter Biden. We also have seen how the state machinery had wasted millions of American tax payer’s money in implementing nefarious conspiracy theories of Hillary Clinton against her rival Donald Trump. We have also witnessed how President Barack Obama and his administration had exerted illegal influence in saving Hillary Clinton from the email scandal.
In brief – America’s electoral system is no more beyond controversy. Moreover, roles played by the ruling parties in the United States against their political rivals are well documented and proved. Considering such scenarios, can anyone now demand holding of elections in the US, particularly those presidential elections under a caretaker government with observers from non-Western counties, including India and Pakistan? If those allegations brought by Donald Trump and his supporters are to be taken into cognizance, it can be safely said – America’s electoral system is not more trustworthy. What can the US government now do to save the image of its electoral system? With such serious doubts about electoral transparency, does Joe Biden or any of the members of his administration now have the moral right to criticize elections in any foreign nation?
Now a little bit flashback. Immediately after the 2016 presidential election, defeated candidate of the Democratic Party Hillary Clinton quickly labelled the election as manipulated and she even blamed Russia for interfering into the election. Clinton came up with Steele Dossier to prove her claims, which finally was proved as bogus and a serious conspiracy against country’s electoral system. At that time too, a large section of American voters had echoed Hillary Clinton’s bogus claim and branded Donald Trump as an illegitimate president.
Meaning, both Democratic Party and Republican Party have past track records of questioning the electoral system of the country. In plain words – such claims have dirtied the democratic process of the US. Now, after almost six years of controversy and counter-controversy centering country’s electoral system, how Americans can anymore raise fingers at elections held in any other country? In fact – they cannot. They have lost the moral right of talking about transparency of electoral system in any other country, when their own electoral systems are rogued and polluted.
