UK Muslims want to drive-away Hindus from Leicester

Radical Muslims in UK are now openly showing their nasty fangs by making announcements of driving-away Hindus from Leicester just like they did with Hindus from Indian state of Kashmir.

According to media reports, on September 21, 2022, Charlotte Littlewood, a research fellow at Henry Jackson Society who has been following anti-Hindu attacks in Leicester and Birmingham, revealed that there were threatening messages from Islamists suggesting they wanted to ‘clean’ Hindus from Leicester just like they ‘did from Kashmir’. The shocking revelation was made during an interview with GB News.

Charlotte said during her on-ground research, she found that the tension between the Hindu and Muslim communities had been brewing for months in Leicester, and according to her, it was more of a territorial dispute rather than political. The tension resulted in attacks on the Hindus who were displaying Hindu symbols in their cars and homes. “I have now knowledge of six, potentially nine [Hindu] families left the area because of the violence,” she added. Some of the families have returned, but they were reportedly hiding the Hindu symbols.

When asked if the tension was related to politics in India and that might be offensive to some people of Pakistani heritage, why protests were erupting in Britain, Charlotte said she could not find any hard evidence of ‘Hindutva nationalism’ being the reason for the violence. She said, “From my discussions on the ground, I am finding it really hard to get hard evidence that this is Hindutva nationalism. In fact, it is looking more and more a territorial dispute particular to Leicester”.

She further added that the attack on the Hindu temple in Birmingham was linked to the visit of Hindu leader Sadhvi Ritambhara, which was cancelled. She claimed that when she spoke to the temple authorities, they mentioned that they had cancelled the event after learning about the “problematic past” of Sadhvi. However, when OpIndia spoke to the head office of Sadhvi Ritambhara’s organization, they told us that the events were postponed owing to her poor health.

Charlotte said, “When only 30 [Islamists] gathered on the streets of Leicester, there was a call for more brothers. We saw it go from 30 to 200. Half of them were from outside Leicester. Now we are aware of an Instagram account and various private social media accounts with thousands of followers in which there calls to ‘chop up Hindu community’, ‘clean them from Leicester as we did from Kashmir,’ ‘put those dogs down”.

She called it ‘a very sickening afternoon’ while she went through the social media posts. “It was an absolutely organized gang of Islamists that are being fronted by what I would call extreme Islamist influencers with half a million plus followers on YouTube who have been calling for people to come to Leicester and Birmingham”, she said.

Charlotte said the next target of these Islamists appeared to be the Indian High Commission in London.

Meanwhile, according to OpIndia report, the Hindu community in the UK, particularly in Leicester and Birmingham, is under attack by the Islamists.

What initially appeared to be a clash between the two communities following the T20 match between India and Pakistan, where the latter lost, turned out to be a well-planned and well-organized attack on Hindus, their homes, businesses, and properties in Leicester. Several arrests were made by the Police following the attack on Hindus in the city.

Later, calls were made by the “Islamist influencers” to gather in Birmingham to circle a Hindu temple to mark a “peaceful protest” against an event where Sadhvi Ritambhara was scheduled to appear. Despite the event being postponed a week before the scheduled date, the Islamists circled the Hindu temple, hurled abuses, and threatened to attack Hindus if they were followers of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

Britain becoming hub of radical Muslims, jihadists and anti-Semite elements

For the past few decades, Britain has received thousands of Muslims from around the world, including the European Union nations and accorded them immigrant status or citizenship. It also has granted asylum to a large number of similar elements. While a major part of London has slipped into the grips of Islamists and jihadists, size of anti-Semite and pro-jihad Muslims population is on an alarming rise in Scotland and other parts of England. Meanwhile, every month thousands of illegal Muslim immigrants are entering the United Kingdom via English Channel, while authorities concerned are not taking any real measure in stopping such dangerous influx of illegal aliens.

There were 1,012,823 Muslims reported in the 2011 census in the Greater London area. In the 2011 census Office for National Statistics, the proportion of Muslims in London had risen to 12.4 percent of the population and 21 percent of Muslims in England.

The first Muslims to settle in London were lascars, that is, Bengali and Yemeni sailors from the 19th century. Many Muslims from the Indian sub-continents served in the British Army and British Indian Army in the First and Second World Wars. In the wave of immigration that followed the Second World War, many Muslims emigrated to the UK from these Commonwealth countries and former colonies to satisfy labor shortages and seek new opportunities for themselves. Following the partition of India, many came from Pakistan especially the Punjab and “Azad Kashmir” in addition to the Indian state of Gujarat. This initial wave of immigration of the 1950s and 60s was followed by migrants from Cyprus, Sylhet, Sunamganj, Moulvibazar and Habiganj districts in Bangladesh, formerly East Pakistan. Many Muslims also arrived from various other countries, although the percentage is far smaller than from South Asia. Amongst those from other countries, Muslims from Yemen, Somalia and Turkey have significant numbers, whereas those from Malaysia, Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya represent smaller fractions. Today, London’s Muslims come from all over the world and there is a small but growing group of converts.

For the last several years, there has been mushroom growth of mosques, madrassas and so-called Islamic prayer rooms in the United Kingdom. According to 2016 statistics, currently there are over 2,100 mosques in Britain, out of which more than 1,500 are located in London. But in reality, this number if much higher. There is no data about the exact number of madrassas in England, although it is well-accepted that madrassas are breeding grounds of jihadism.
