International community needs to realize, there is no moderates in the Iranian regime and Iranian people’s demand of overthrowing the cruel mullah regime is very much legitimate. Iran needs to be liberated from the heinous clutches of notorious mullah regime. It should happen forthwith!

In Afghanistan, Taliban leaders have already declared of the establishment of an Iran prototype government, meaning this is going to become another terror-patron nation in the world. Anyone having elementary knowledge on the modus operandi of the Taliban will understand, in Afghanistan, a cruel Islamist and pro-jihadist Sunni regime is going to push forward devastating notoriety and terrorist acts within the region, especially targeting Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Israel, while Taliban leaders will encourage and patronize in spreading radical Islamic militancy throughout the world. Turkey already has signaled of recognizing the Taliban regime while Iranian mullahs are seeing their best allies in the Sunni Taliban despite the fact and possibility of Afghanistan’s Shiite Hazara group becoming one of the prime victims of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

In Iran, the infamous Butcher of Tehran has already accelerated cruelty on the Iranian people, while the UN Security Council has remained surprisingly silent or inactive in the face of Iranian regime’s increased and egregious human rights violations. Disturbing videos leaked by a hacking group revealed gruesome abuse, including beatings and other forms of extremely harsh treatment of detainees, carried out inside Iran’s most notorious Evin prison. It may be mentioned here that, in Iran, female detainees are regularly raped by the prison guards. In this case, Iranian regime has publicly admitted the cases of abuse inside prison and the head of Iran’s prisons, Mohammed Mehdi Hajmohammadi, apologized.

He tweeted: “Regarding the pictures from Evin prison, I accept responsibility for such unacceptable behavior and pledge to try to prevent any repeat of these bitter events and to deal seriously with the wrongdoers. I apologize to God Almighty, our dear leader (Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei), the nation, and honorable prison guards, whose efforts will not be ignored due to these mistakes”.

Experts on Iran said, Hajmohammadi’s statement is just a part of Iranian regime’s tactic of deception and mockery. Such abuses in Iran’s prisons are systemic, while Iranian leaders have always enjoyed impunity.

Amnesty International, which has analyzed 16 leaked video clips, stated: “Leaked surveillance footage from Evin prison showing appalling abuse of prisoners serves as a chilling reminder of the impunity granted to prison officials in Iran who subject those in their custody to torture and other cruel, inhumane, and degrading treatment”.

While Joe Biden and his administration are adamantly pushing forward efforts in lifting all sanctions from Iran through reentering the nuclear deal, experts say, this is going to be Biden’s greatest blunder, which would have much bigger and serious impact than that of Biden’s Afghanistan failure.

According to experts, torture inside Iranian prison is neither any isolated incident nor it is something new. The Iranian regime’s modus operandi is anchored in abuse, the mistreatment of opponents and dissidents, and the employment of brute force and torture.

In August 2021, more than 1,000 survivors of the Iranian regime’s prisons and massacres assembled to tell their shocking stories to the world. The former political prisoners and witnesses of torture and brutal killings in Iran’s prisons appeared at a virtual conference that was also attended by hundreds of prominent international dignitaries, including foreign ministers and human rights advocates from Europe and North America.

But nothing will change unless the international community focuses on It’s putting an end to the culture of impunity enjoyed by Iranian mullah regime leaders. The international community needs to begin the process of punishing Iranian regime by prosecuting Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Butcher of Tehran President Ebrahim Raisi, Judiciary Chief Gholam-Hossein Mohseni Ejei and others for their egregious human rights violations. According to experts on Iran, in one of the most horrific crimes committed by a dictatorship in the Middle East and perhaps the world, Iran’s 1988 massacre saw the clerical regime execute at least 30,000 political prisoners, more than 90 percent of whom were reportedly members of the main opposition group Mujahedin-e Khalq. They were most likely killed because of their political beliefs and commitment to bringing about a free and democratic Iran. It may be mentioned here that the mullah regime has always wanted to annihilate all opposition to its rule – a devastating culture that has led to a ruined economy, disastrous social conditions, ongoing crimes against humanity, and a massively botched response to the coronavirus pandemic, which has taken the lives of more than 100,000 Iranians.

International community needs to understand, the 1988 massacre is a clear example of gruesome genocide. In 2010, Raisi declared that “All mojahedin are enemies of God and punishable by death”. Isn’t it outrageous? In fact, the regime is categorically concerned about the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), a broad coalition of democratic organizations that presents the most popular, credible and organized alternative to its rule.

Analysts say, NCRI’s President-elect Maryam Rajavi is a charismatic Muslim woman, who has led an international campaign calling for justice for the 1988 massacre victims and their families. Recently Ms. Rajavi tweeted: “The Call-for-Justice movement is synonymous with perseverance and resistance to overthrow this regime and establish freedom”. The group has called on the US and Europe to recognize the 1988 massacre as genocide and a crime against humanity, and to hold Raisi accountable.

International community needs to realize, there is no moderates in the Iranian regime and Iranian people’s demand of overthrowing the cruel mullah regime is very much legitimate. Iran needs to be liberated from the heinous clutches of notorious mullah regime. It should happen forthwith!
