Biden was finished in 1988 after admitting being a serial liar

The Biden brand has been tarnished for decades, ever since Joe Biden withdrew from the 1988 presidential race, admitting he was a serial liar.  Writes Lucas Leiroz

Apparently, the American media is running out of arguments to accuse Hunter Biden’s scandals of being “Russian disinformation”. Faced with clear evidence about the involvement of the son of the current Democratic president in the most diverse illegal schemes in Ukraine including corruption and funding of research on biological weapons, the Western mainstream media channels themselves are starting to abandon the official White House narrative and seek a more neutral position on the case. Worsening the situation for the White House, now the entire Biden family seems to be under scrutiny, which reflects American dissatisfaction with the current government.

Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH), in a recent interview with Fox News, stated that “something is up” in American media coverage of the Hunter Biden scandals. The congressman claims that he has investigated the way in which major news outlets have reported the matter in recent months, including the New York Times and Washington Post. According to him a central point in the latest publications is the abandonment of the narrative that the topic is entirely related to a supposed Russian conspiracy for disinformation. Jordan suggests that this ambiguous media stance may be an indication that the allegations are true.

As an example of his thesis, Jordan cited a CNN article published on March 30, in which it is possible to read that the Hunter Biden investigation “has gained steam in recent months,” adding that a “flurry of witnesses [were] providing testimony to federal investigators and more expected to provide interviews in the coming weeks”. Although the large number of witnesses is not any real news about the case, until recently, both CNN and other relevant Western newspapers simply ignored the existence of such evidence about Hunter’s involvement in illegal activities. Now, these same newspapers, despite not positioning themselves as “believers” in the allegations, at least mention the existence of the evidence, which is already a substantial change in approach.

Despite pointing towards the impossibility of hiding the veracity of the scandals, the change in the positioning of the media also seems to reflect a general scenario of dissatisfaction with the Biden administration, with a typical scrutiny with several members of the current president’s family. In addition to Hunter, James Biden, brother of the Democrat, has been under heavy federal investigation since suspicions emerged of his involvement in illegal financial transactions that would have taken place between 2018 and 2020.

To a large extent, these investigations are incited and supported both financially and logistically by the Republican Party, which uses the scandals as a political tool to create a crisis of legitimacy against the current president. Commenting on this, Wall Street analyst and investigative journalist Charles Ortel stated:

“The Biden brand has been tarnished for decades, ever since Joe Biden withdrew from the 1988 presidential race, admitting he was a serial liar (…) “What has changed is that the monumental disaster that is Joe Biden is plainly evident. True polls likely point to an epic slaughter of Democrats and Never Trump RINOs in November 2022 and 2024. So, the powers behind the throne likely are pushing Biden out, with the laptop and its contents being one prime instrument. Joe Biden’s legacy fell apart months into his first year in the White House. Politically, he is already a toxic laughingstock whose angry thoughts frighten no serious listener.”

Obviously, the mainstream media has supported Biden in recent years, considering that Trump’s “isolationist nationalism” would be the worst option for the globalists who fund American TV and news channels. The Democrats’ internal choice to launch Biden was due to a number of specific circumstances and seems to be something the Party itself regrets, considering the high level of polarization of Democratic factions and the rejection of the President by most party members.

While current scandals – ignoring old cases such as those mentioned by Ortel – were restricted to financial crimes committed by Hunter Biden in Ukraine, it was possible for the mainstream media to disguise the legitimacy crisis by betting on the accusation of “Russian disinformation operation”. But the situation is getting significantly worse, as now Hunter also receives accusations of funding biolabs on Ukrainian territory and the US government continues to have no official response to this. In addition, of course, to the James issue and all the political mismanagement of the current president.

Faced with this, the media can no longer be silent and that is why it is expected that the approaches of American newspapers will become increasingly neutral. The media does not want to be compromised by the crimes of those it supports. And with that Biden has the risk of losing what may be his last great ally.
