Republicans feel disgusted with Donald Trump

Following the result of the midterm elections, where Democratic Party succeeded in retaining Senate majority and Republican Party candidates are struggling to gain majority of the Congress, a large portion of Republicans already are blaming Donald Trump for such “disastrous result” and they want the party to get rid of Trump.

When asked, if Republicans are unwilling Hunter Biden and Biden family to be investigated for corruptions and crimes, diehard supporters of the party said, they don’t believe Donald Trump will ever do that, as he did not investigate Hillary Clinton’s email scandal. They believe, Trump would “simply spare” Hunter Biden and Biden family if he is re-elected.

Republicans also are expressing anger and dissatisfaction at Donald Trump on social media platforms. Here are some of the comments:

Steve: I’m an independent. I tend to vote or lean right when the right candidate is available. In this election, I voted all Democrats because every single Republican candidate was a Trump endorsed crack pot.

Robert: I lean to the right myself. But I’m telling you, any objective political expert will tell you Dems aren’t winning by cheating. They’re winning in large part because Trumps behavior and personality are scaring off swing voters and dragging the GOP down. We won’t get back on track until we show him the door by avoiding him like the plague at the ballot box.

Bill: I am a Republican and I think they are moving in a terrible direction by supporting Trump and Maga. I am very disappointed in my party right now. I think back to Bush 1 and 2 and Reagan who be believed in the Republican beliefs small govt, cut spending, and a balanced budget. They also worked with Democrats when needed to get real problems resolved. This is all gone and there is nothing but finger pointing and accusing states of voting fraud. I personally do not buy the opinion that there is more voting fraud then there has been over time. Trump and Maga needs to go and the Republican Party needs to get back on track.

Patricia: The fact that one party having control is such a big deal just proves how ineffective our government has become. They are literally assuming that every politician will vote party lines. It means the actual reps we vote in don’t matter one bit. They aren’t there to represent us, they are there to represent the party and themselves. Paying them is a waste of money. At this point we might as well just vote red or blue. Instead of for a person. That’s how our district will vote for the period.

Thomas: The American people spoke again and left the Republicans pretty much powerless even with their small gains in the House. The Republicans have no power without the Senate and the veto power of the President. The Dems also gained a lot in the legislation sector of our government. If I were the Republican party, I would get a clue because they have offered nothing to the American people. All I have heard is crying and nonsense. This nation needs leaders not children like Green running things.

Michael: Election day aside common-sense conservatives are no longer welcome. We’re RINO’s, liberals and few other things that can’t be printed. Many of us will not return until Trumpism is renounced and all those that played a part in Jan 6th are held accountable. That day was a slippery slope that cannot be accepted. The RNC calling it “reasonable political discourse” was nothing short of frightening. And this demonizing of half the country has to stop.

Zeno: Democrats across America want to thank Republicans for making Trump the Leader of the GOP. The gift that keeps on giving and looking forward to his announcement on running again.

Sophia: Trump is the gift that keeps on giving and his position as leader is over. When Republicans can’t even whip Democrats in a midterm with high inflation and low approval ratings for Biden, Republicans need to admit they have an albatross around their neck called Trump. Trump is in serious legal peril too. He is facing multiple criminal investigations simultaneously, from January 6, fake electoral certificates from every swing state sent to DC, his infamous and incriminating phone call to Georgia’s Secretary of State that prompted a special grand jury, and he even had a search warrant executed at his residence after he had the audacity to both defy a Federal Grand jury subpoena for all classified documents and his lawyer attested that all classified documents were returned. That’s classic Obstruction – one of the felonies on the warrant. Bill Barr admitted they were very close to having enough evidence to indict Trump with Obstruction. An indictment should be considered imminent when your former AG says that.

Craig: Cassidy says he just ‘learned’ that Americans want ideas, not conspiracy nonsense. Where’s he been and would he have responded similarly if results different? GOP has lost their way under Trump and they need to jettison him now, for a chance at a true democracy, where the two party system benefits us all.

Martin: What a contrast Biden and Trump are. Were this a Trump win he’d be hogging all the credit. Gloating over how wrong the polls were. Settling grudges and mocking his perceived enemies.

“We feel good about where we are. And I know I’m a cockeyed optimist”,

Not exactly a controversial comment is it?

We hired Joe basically to not be Trump for 4 years. So far he’s exceeded expectations.

Vicky: The GOP needs to point the finger at themselves. If they had done the right thing and impeach and convict Trump after the insurrection, by now people would have moved on. But they continue to embrace Trump and Trump-backed candidates who are election-deniers, and this is what you get.

Byron: Thank you, Mr. Trump, for disrupting the red wave! You are the gift that keeps on giving! Please run again in 2 years and pick Marjorie Taylor Greene as your running mate. That will ensure we keep the White House and preserve our democratic republic.

James: On “Meet the Press,” Anita Dunn, senior adviser to the president, said: “It’s very clear what President Biden and the Democratic Party are for. They are for working people, for middle class people, for policies that change what’s happened over the last 40 years in this country, where the wealthy just got wealthier, and the people at the top did well, and everybody else lost ground”.

Jay: You guys know Trump is actually trying to destroy the GOP. It’s crazy many cannot see what he’s trying to accomplish. Just wait until he starts to talk negative about MGT, Lauren Boebert and the rest of the clan. This guy doesn’t care about politics. He looks at this as the Apprentice or another game.
