Trump leads Biden in 2024 presidential election poll

Most possibly Democrats are feeling nervous as their prime candidate for the 2024 presidential election – Joe Biden legs behind Donald Trump in a number of states, including Pennsylvania. According to media reports and recent poll, Pennsylvanian voters would support Donald Trump over President Joe Biden if the two sought a rematch in 2024.

The poll conducted by Emerson College said, forty-seven percent of voters would support Donald Trump and forty-two percent would support Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential election if they were the nominees.

Meaning, it is a worrying signal for the Democratic Party because if they wish to place Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential race, he may face a humiliating defeat. Meanwhile, during the last two years, Biden’s image has almost crashed following leak of his son Hunter Biden’s secret emails and contents of his scandalous laptop. Biden family’s image has also be greatly tarnished because of Ashley Biden’s diary. Moreover, the Bidens are considered by a large number of American voters are “not trustworthy” and extremely greedy and crook.

With these odds, Democratic Party may already have changed their mind of seeing Biden after 2024 as the US president. They surely are looking for a befitting candidate who can defeat Trump. According to my assessment, until now, for Democrats, the most highlighted 2024 presidential candidates are Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton and Michele Obama, while others say, Liz Cheney may join Democratic Party if she gets green signal from the party hierarchy about challenging Donald Trump in the 2024 election. Liz Cheney is gradually becoming prominent in the national level because of positive coverages accorded by left-leaning media cartels. She may use this opportunity in further advancement of her political career by exclusively criticizing Trump and indirectly supporting Biden.

Some political analysts are saying, Democratic Party is wasting their energy mostly towards indicting Donald Trump as they are extremely nervous of his growing popularity. Following 2016 presidential election, Democrats were mostly occupied with numerous attempts of putting President Trump into trouble, mostly due to internal pressure from Hillary Clinton and her loyalists in the party. Even after 2020 presidential election, the “Trump issue” remains the only shield for the Democrats to hide their serious of disastrous failures.

During the November midterm election, there is going to be a large voter turnout as, according to poll, 92 percent of respondents saying they were “very motivated” to participate in the November contests.

The poll marked a swing from two polls conducted in 2019, which showed that 55 percent of respondents supported Biden over Trump’s 45 percent in March of that year and 55 percent of respondents were not likely to vote for Trump as of that August. Thirty-eight percent of respondents said they voted for Trump only in opposition to Hillary Clinton, according to the August 2019 poll.

Topics of interest to voters in 2019 centered on Trump and his policies, with most respondents giving the then-president poor marks for his handling of immigration and healthcare.

The most recent poll showed 45 percent of respondents are worried about the economy, followed by abortion access at 14 percent, crime at 10 percent, healthcare at 9 percent, and both education and immigration at 6 percent. Abortion access as a topic polls 5 percentage points higher in Pennsylvania than nationwide in terms of voter salience, Spencer Kimball, the executive director of Emerson College polling, said in the poll’s release.

For Biden to recover his falling approval ratings and popularity is to first restore America’s economy from the current recession. He also needs to ensure Americans do not fall into the black hope of cruel food shortage by the beginning of next year. Possibly Biden can exhibit a magical result only if he can stop meddling into Ukraine war and lift all sanctions imposed on Russia and Russians. At the same time, his administration needs to put tremendous pressure on Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky to hold peace negotiation with Vladimir Putin on an urgent basis. But, such efforts from the White House may face hurdles and Zelensky is not in a position of taking such decision as he actually in under extreme influence of his neo-Nazi cohorts. Any attempt by Zelensky towards restoring peace may result in his assassination through a coup.
