Indian newspaper the Economic Times organized a webinar with Dr. Roosevelt Skerrit, the Prime Minister of Dominica as the key speaker, which aimed at attracting Indian nationals in making investments in Dominica as well as buying citizenship of the island. Dominica has succeeded in attacking the attention of the potential foreign investors, because of the peaceful environment and political stability in the country.

The webinar discussed the Citizenship by Investment Program of Dominica and how it can benefit the Indian nationals. PM Dr Roosevelt Skerrit was joined by Emmanuel Nanthan Head, Dominica Citizenship by Investment Unit and Micha Emmett CEO CS Global Partners.

It may be mentioned here that, thousands of Indian nationals are buying properties, businesses and citizenship in a number of countries, and the trend has greatly increased ever-since Prime Minister Narendra Modi came into power in 2014.

Referring to the security in Dominica, Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit stated that as Prime Minister he could walk or drive on the streets of Dominica without any security because it is the safest country in the world.

Prime Minister stated that Dominica is also very welcoming and friendly to foreign nationals.

Furthermore, Prime Minister stated that the Citizenship by Investment Program of Dominica holds the world’s no. 1 recognition as it has been featured in the CBI Index issued by PWM-a publication of Financial Times.

Dr Skerrit also noted that the right of people’s property is protected under the law, and any person is welcome to start their business in the country.

Moreover, he made sure that the people can come to Dominica as it is extremely safe when it comes to coronavirus, and no virus-related deaths have been recorded so far, and health care of the country is robust.

He emphasized that all the World Health Organization’s health protocols are being followed since the reopening of borders on August 07. ‘The world has been stressed because of coronavirus; people want to breathe and exhale, so we are welcoming everyone by following WHO health guidelines.

He added that Dominica respects the rule of law, and people intending to be the citizens of the island nation can be relaxed to know how safe it is for them and their families.
