Pakistan’s mango diplomacy falls flat

Pakistan has been continuing mango diplomacy for years. Late Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan and late Pir Pagaro senior were founders of the diplomacy, who never failed in undertaking the exercise with the advent of the mango season. Lately, former prime minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, former leader of opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah and former federal minister Jehangir Khan Tarin joined the “Mango diplomacy club”. Khursheed Shah, who has been behind the bars for the third consecutive mango season, keeps dispatching mangoes from the prison regularly.

This year, Pakistan’s key ally Palestinians and mega-terror outfit Hamas have joined Islamabad in encouraging Muslim nations in accepting Pakistan’s mango gift as a number of nations including the United States and China have already declined to accept mangoes that Pakistani had dispatched to heads of over 32 countries.

Boxes of mangoes are also being dispatched to Iran, Gulf countries, Turkey, United Kingdom, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Russia. In addition to this, Pakistan also is sending mangoes to Palestinian authorities as well as leaders of Hamas. Special boxes of mangoes will also be sent to terrorist Ahlam Tamimi in Jordan.

Countries, which have expressed their regrets at accepting the gift from the president of Pakistan, include United States, China, Canada, Nepal, Egypt and Sri Lanka.

Pakistan Foreign Office had also listed the French president among the expected recipients of the gift but Paris hasn’t responded to Pakistan’s intent.

Meanwhile, the mango diplomacy has returned to the federal capital as political stalwarts from South Punjab and upper Sindh have delivered boxes of mangoes to selected diplomats, high ups of the twin-cities and intellectuals.

Pakistan eyes on Hamas as propaganda outlet

Pakistani spy agency Inter Service Intelligence reportedly had been maintaining regular contacts with mega-terror outfit Hamas with the goal of using Hamas and Palestinians in pushing forward Islamabad’s agenda in the Palestinian-sympathizer nations.
