Princess Latifa, mysterious battle amongst the propagandists

0

For the last three years, a group of individuals were seen competing in propaganda centering the case of Princess Latifa, clearly with the ulterior motive of making money. Some of the reports in the media have branded particularly two individuals – David Haigh and Radha Stirling as the champion propagandists, while there are plenty of allegations brought against these individuals. At the same time, several websites are seen engaged in publishing posts attacking their interest-rivals, while an individual named Hervé Jaubert is quoted by Radha Stirling claiming he was the mastermind behind the so-called escape of Princess Latifa. None of these websites mention the ulterior motive of abducting the Dubai princess with the nefarious agenda of extorting millions of dollars from Dubai ruler Sheikh Rashid al Maktoum.

According to Wikipedia: “Radha Stirling founded Detained in Dubai in 2008, a civil and criminal justice organization after her colleague, Mr. Cat Le-Huey, was imprisoned in Dubai. Stirling led the campaign to facilitate the media coverage on Cat Le-Huey’s case, led to Stirling receiving consistent requests from other people in need of help. It was then that she realized Le-Huey’s case was not isolated and that there was a need for an organization to assist victims of injustice”.

Above this information, Wikipedia has flagged it stating: “A major contributor to this article appears to have a close connection with its subject [Radha Stirling”. Meaning, it was done with the goal of propagating Stirling.

Describing Radha Stirling, another propagandist named David Haigh wrote on his website: “The reasons for Ms Stirling and me parting company in 2018 are extensive but centre on a fundamental disagreement between us on what sort of campaigning entity we wanted to run. I believe that justice and protection of human rights in the UAE, and elsewhere in the Gulf, should be provided on the basis of need, not on who can pay or attract a good story. I wanted Detained in Dubai to be a genuine not-for-profit NGO, not a for-profit company with a sole shareholder (Ms Stirling). I was also concerned about Ms Stirling’s tendency to use high-profile cases to gain free publicity, referring to herself as a lawyer, when the reality I discovered was that she isn’t a lawyer, didn’t go to any law school, and didn’t even graduate with a law degree. Detained in Dubai, employs no professionally qualified staff, has no office, and even no insurance. I then discovered that, rather than file accounts to explain her profits from her claimed ‘10,000 clients in 10 years’ (a number that is frankly impossible), Ms Stirling sees her Detained in Dubai company compulsorily dissolved each time for failure to comply with English law and file accounts; she then sets up a new company with an identical name but new number, as any check of Companies House will show”.

That means, Radha Stirling is not a lawyer as she even did not attend any law school.

Another top-scammer who took massive financial benefits through false propaganda on the Princess Latifa case is Tiina Jauhiainen, the Finnish woman with extremely dubious past. Tiina too had issued a statement against Radha Stirling on a website named FreeLatifa. It may be mentioned here that, Tiina Jauhiainen, David Haigh and Marcus Essabri have been making substantial amount of money by selling false stories centering Princess Latifa. They also had succeeded in fooling a section of the Western media outlets.

Now, Radha Stirling also came up with her statement against David Haigh, which has been published on another website named PricessLatifa. In this statement, Radha Stirling wrote: A man named David Haigh, who has been convicted of fraud/forgery, has falsely claimed that he was instructed by Sheikha Latifa in 2018, and that he represents her.  In reality, Sheikha Latifa has not instructed David Haigh and has not even spoken to him.  David Haigh is now associated to the #FreeLatifa campaign and website.

The High Court of England has, during a fraud case against Haigh, has ordered the #FreeLatifa campaign to disclose payments and donations received as Haigh is under a worldwide freeze order.

Detained in Dubai has received a number of complaints from the public that they have donated to the case under the mistaken belief that we run the campaign.  Please note that Detained in Dubai does not operate the @FreeLatifa fundraiser or website and does not support Mr David Haigh and his associates, including Tiina Jauhiainen who have perpetuated mistruths regarding Princess Latifa.

On March 18, 2021, Radha Stirling published a report on her website named ‘Detained in Dubai’ under the title ‘Princess Latifa’s yacht located using friend’s phone” – Hervé Jaubert’ stating: US/French spy Hervé Jaubert says he advocates for a quiet diplomatic resolution for Latifa, concerned that the latest videos put her in danger. “Nostromo located because of friend’s phone” and the violent three government approved attack at sea.

Former French secret service agent and naval officer, US national Captain Hervé Jaubert, had been in contact with Princess Latifa for seven years as the pair planned her escape onboard a US flagged yacht that would collect her from international waters outside of Oman.

The rules were clear. No phones were allowed to be brought onboard Nostromo, the US flagged yacht, that was to carry them to freedom. “I explained her (Latifa) the technology and told Latifa, before you escape, leave your phone behind and I told the same to her friend, not one or two times but twenty times and she acknowledged”, Jaubert told India Today on the 16th of March, 2021.

Tiina Jauhiainen was hired by Latifa in 2017, to assist her execute the final stages of her seven year plan with Jaubert. “Latifa was focussed. She did not want to get caught and she dumped her phone before leaving Dubai and crossing to Oman”. Jaubert had secure untraceable tablets waiting for Latifa and her Finnish friend.

Jauhiainen told CBSN that she thought it was the Captain’s phone that led to their capture.  But Jaubert and security sources close to the Dubai government have confirmed he didn’t even have his US phone onboard.

Jaubert told India Today that two mobile phones were brought aboard the yacht by Latifa’s aid, Jauhiainen, and were likely used to track the location of the yacht as they had been “compromised” through their use in Dubai.

Jaubert discussed the 2018 “vicious attack” on Nostromo and has accused the Indian forces of being “terrorists in uniforms”.  They beat him unconscious and unlawfully forced him from US territory (US flagged yacht) to the United Arab Emirates for interrogations.  Jaubert truly believed that was the end, that he would be executed.

“It is astonishing that no contact was made before the attack on the yacht. Neither the US, the UAE or India attempted to contact the Captain before executing a blacks ops style violent boarding”, said Radha Stirling, founder of Detained in Dubai, who was on a call to the princess at the time of the attack.

“We have concerns that private companies, states and allies assisted with locating the yacht.  We have significant concerns that the operation to extract and force a US citizen and the princess to the UAE was sanctioned by three governments.

“No efforts were made to communicate with the Captain and no efforts were made to protect the passengers, even after it was made clear that there was an asylum bid”, added Stirling. “If state forces are able to board a yacht in international waters and kidnap its passengers, take them to a third country that they didn’t even depart from, and hold them there, we have a serious and fundamental lack of legal protection. This opens the door for ANY country to take ANYONE from international waters, without consequence. Nobody is safe”.

Jaubert has expressed his concerns at the latest videos released by Jauhiainen and David Haigh, given Dubai’s view of the pair.

“I don’t want to be associated with these people”, he said, after resigning from the #FreeLatifa campaign in 2018.

“She is a hostage in solitary confinement and vulnerable, when I see these videos where Latifa says she contacted this person or that person I see a red flag because it looks like Latifa is being coached to say this and it’s dangerous,” he said.

He cites his own example and says that his seven years of secret conversation with Latifa remained secret.

Jaubert advocates for covert diplomatic solutions which in his opinion are more likely to help the princess at this stage than the online campaigns.

Stirling added “We are exploring all diplomatic possibilities to secure a better life for Latifa. Sheikha Latifa Al Maktoum’s freedom is high on the agenda of a number of important political players, but they are sympathetic that her position within the royal family may pose a threat to the UAE’s national security. It’s a delicate situation, but we are hopeful that with mutual understanding and diplomacy, a solution can be reached”.

As recently published photographs have clearly proved, Princess Latifa is happily living with her family and the allegations of her being held in isolation is false, legal team of Princess Latifa now should examine activities of the scammers and culprits and take necessary legal steps against each of them. At the same time, Princess Latifa’s lawyers should take legal actions against people involved behind the above-mentioned propaganda and scamming websites.
