Netflix has scheduled a huge 43 new films that will be dropping on the platform this autumn, with one released per week until the end of 2021.
Blockbusters including Don’t Look Up, Red Notice, The Harder They Fall and The Power of the Dog are all featured in the steamer’s line-up.
After releasing in cinemas on October 22, The Harder They Fall will be out on Netflix on November 3. Starring Idris Elba, Jonathan Majors, Zazie Beetz and Regina King, the Western follows a cowboy who reassembles his gang to avenge his murdered parents.
Action-thriller Red Notice, starring Gal Gadot, Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds, will be released on November 12. Johnson plays the FBI’s top profiler, who teams up with Reynolds and Gadot for a heist.
Johnson previously called the movie the “largest investment Netflix has made thus far in a film”.
On December 24, Don’t Look Up will finally be released on the platform, after its cinema release on December 10. It follows two astronomers who try and convince everyone a meteor is going to destroy the earth. The ensemble cast includes Hollywood heavyweights Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Timothée Chalamet, Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill and Mark Rylance.
